Riding camels through the Egyptian desert is an experience that’s not to be missed. And it’s definitely one of the most unique ways to see the country! Unless you are taking a Nile cruise, you will have to take a long bus ride across the desert to get to Giza. It’s well worth it. One thing to remember is that you don’t tip your camel handler when you get on the camel. You tip them when you get off. Otherwise you might not actually get off the camel. It’s a bit of a scam some people play with tourists. One person puts you on and takes off to deal with someone else, and then the person who gets you down expects to be tipped as well.

They’re really fun

Riding camels might be a great way to get from place to place while on vacation, but they’re also just plain fun. There’s something thrilling about riding through ancient Egyptian temples and pyramids. Whether it be for fun or transportation purposes, camels are well worth giving at least one try. There actually are several cruise ports in the Mediterranean where you can ride camels. Giza is the most popular, but there are other stops as well.

Camels offer unique views

As you ride through Egypt’s sand dunes, you’ll see sights that few tourists ever do. Camels are ideal for exploring off-the-beaten path locations, like Egyptian pyramids and villages where life has changed little over centuries. There’s nothing like experiencing Egyptian sites firsthand from a camel.

Part of your Coaching Program?

There’s not a good linkage between most coaching programs and riding camels, but it is an unforgettable experience. Like any good program, establishing connections and creating memories is key. If you are trying to create a team environment doing it on camel is not a bad way to go about it. This is an experience and a view that few people have today. As most seminars are in part about personal growth and raising your sights, what better way to get a higher view of life than on top of a camel.
